One Road in to a great New Year's Eve Weekend

It was Friday at around 1:30 and I couldn't have been more excited to jump into the car head out of the city and spend the weekend with great friends in the Poconos at Fernwood Resort. My car was filled with folding chairs, party favors, suitcases and my friends Brian &Abby. As we headed out of the tunnel and on to an open road I knew we would be the first to arrive with time to spare. We made great timing until the last 20 minutes of the trip, which happened to be a single road that led us to the resort. Upon our arrival only one room was ready, which was fine since we were all starving. We decided to drop their stuff off in their room at head to the Friendly's we saw when driving into town. Once back at the villa we checked into the 2nd villa which would be right next door. Next stop was meeting some of the other crew at the liquor store to stock up for the weekend and that we did! Once everyone had arrived we headed to a local pub for some live music, food, and pool!

The next day we some of us stayed home to enjoy the scenery and relax while others hit the outlets. We continued to party and cook up a storm for our New Year's Eve Potluck Dinner!

We finished off the night by ringing in the new year with a champagne toast and cheers to 2012. It was a weekend spent with great friends some I even call family!
